From small town Nebraska, Brett Maline got the opportunity out of high school to train and tour with world-renowned performing group, The Young Americans. After tours to Europe, Japan, and China, he went on to co-found and tour with his alternative-pop band, recording two full albums and five national tours. His current projects include his YouTube sketch group, The Genuine Jerks, whose videos have been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and are mainstays on the front pages of Funny or Die and Reddit. With credits including CBS’s 2 BROKE GIRLS and VICE’s EVERYONE I LOVE IS DEAD, and a recent 3-year run as an Upright Citizens Brigade house sketch team performer, Brett is absolutely thrilled and so grateful to be a part of the Groundlings Sunday Company. He thanks his amazingly supportive fam, friends, and Nebraska Cornhusker football cus he’s one of those insane fans that yells at the TV.
