Jim Cashman

Jim filmed a role in fellow Groundlings Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone’s new film Michelle Darnell, due to be released in 2016. Before that, he was a staff writer for USA’s comedy Benched (created by Groundlings Michaela Watkins and Damon Jones), wrote for Warner Brothers’ Looney Tunes Show on Cartoon Network and he received a WGA Award nomination for his writing on Saturday Night Live. Jim was a series regular on Super Dave's Spike Tacular  and VH-1's prank show BSTV. He also has recurred as "Alan", the much abusedTonight Show writer, and "Gil Smith" on IFC's The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. His other TV credits include Benched, How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life, Conan, Tosh.0, Worst Week, Frank TV, Just Shoot Me, The Late Late Show, Hidden Hills, and Larry Miller’s pilot Uncommon Sense. Jim can be seen on the internet in the web series "Bandwagon" (playing a fictional character who happens to be named 'Jim Cashman') and Mike Loprete's series "Psychology for Dummies." On stage, he played 'Vice Principal Panch' in the 1st National Tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In that show, he performed alongside his beautiful wife, Michelle Noh, who graciously shares him with the Groundlings. In his spare time, he stands next to Flo to get you to buy insurance. Come on, just buy some.
