Lauren Burns started life in a single family treehouse in Northern California. Upon descending, she spent 13 relatively normal years on the ground before moving to New York City. During her time there, she earned degrees in Drama and Russian Literature, and also earned the nickname "Rusty" because she never turned down a glass of tap water. Still won't. Lauren has appeared in numerous commercials, very independent films, and comedy shows. She was most recently performing comedy with Killing My Lobster in San Francisco. She can currently be seen in a web-series she co-created called Today in the Park at MSN.com. She loves to write screenplays about triumphant orphans and laugh with her husband at their two year old daughter who is the funniest person on this earth to have come out of her body. Lauren has harbored a deep love for The Groundlings for many years, so being in the Main Company is really awesome to her.
