Steve Szlaga

Steve Szlaga

Steve made his stage debut as a metamorphic rock in a 4th grade production of something called "Rock Parade." It was there that he learned that rocks are boring and science is whatever, but getting attention is great. He grew up in Michigan, graduated from Columbia College Chicago, then moved to LA where he studied improv, sketch, and the art of unceremoniously quitting jobs he didn’t like. Steve is also a performer at UCB, where his credits include Harold Night, Maude Night, and Quick & Funny Musicals. He is half of the sketch duo Medium Friends, and has written for The Powerpuff Girls.Steve couldn’t be more excited to perform in the Sunday Company. His journey to this point was formed by heat and pressure. You know what else was formed by heat and pressure? Metamorphic rocks.
