Student COVID-19 Protocols For Classes

  • Full vaccination required to attend our classes. Boosters are strongly recommended. Students will need to present proof of full vaccination and a valid ID at the school on the first day of class, unless exempt by law. Those eligible for an exemption must contact the school for approval. Only digital or physical vaccination cards are accepted. Per the guidelines set by the CDC, full vaccination means that at least 14 days have passed since receiving the final dose of an FDA-authorized or WHO-listed COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccinated in California? • Weekly testing is required to attend classes, no exceptions. Students who are exempt by law must test twice weekly. PCR tests should be taken within 3 days of the first class of the week, and Antigen tests should be taken within 1 day of the first class of the week. Tests must be proctored, no home kits permitted. Additional same-day Antigen testing is required for student performances.
  • Masks are optional in the classroom. When in the school building, students must be masked in the shared spaces (halls, lobby, restrooms, etc.) but once in their assigned classroom, students may unmask during class, as long as they have submitted their testing documentation, and are not under close contact quarantine or isolation.
  • Check-in will be held at the school lobby, 7280 Melrose Ave. Upon arrival, temperature and symptom checks will be performed prior to all classes, and Covid Compliance Officers will check vaccination cards and test results (when applicable).
