COVID-19 Protocols For Students

MANDATORY WEEKLY COVID TESTING:

Weekly Covid testing is required, regardless of vaccination status. This policy is spelled out in the terms and conditions agreed to when enrolling. We are no longer requiring proof of vaccination.

  • We accept over-the-counter antigen test results. Tests must be taken on the same day as your class, not necessarily at the School. Students must bring the test itself to the first class of the week. Phone pics will not be accepted.

  • PCR tests taken within 72 hours of the class will still be accepted.

  • You will show your test results directly to your teacher. You don't need to email them.

  • Weekly testing is required, regardless of whether or not you plan to stay masked. (If you tested positive in the last 30 days, please email us for testing protocols.)

  • Failure to submit test results could lead to your being dropped from the class and removed from the Groundlings School entirely.

WHAT IF SOMEONE TESTS POSITIVE?

If you have close contact with a person who tests positive, or you test positive yourself, email us asap so we can tell if your class was exposed. The first day a person is exposed or experiences symptoms is Day 0. The student may return to class on Day 5 if no symptoms are present and they present a negative PCR or antigen test. Students must stay masked for 10 days, regardless. Positive students are good to unmask after Day 10, and are not required to test again until after day 30. If you are experiencing any symptoms you are required to stay home.
