Growing up in a dysfunctional family from the Chicago suburbs, Amy naturally connected with John Hughes movies early on. She spent most of her time competitively swimming as a kid until she took a turn and made her debut as a prostitute in her high school’s production of Les Mis. To her parent’s disappointment Amy went on to be a theater major at the University of Iowa (don’t worry they accepted it, eventually…) After almost not graduating, Amy made her way to Chicago where she started doing improv and sketch at theaters like The Second City, iO and The Annoyance. She is thrilled to now add Groundlings to the list and can’t wait to get weird for you!
