Holly Mandel is a Groundling alum who lives in both LA and NYC. She was a senior instructor of the Groundlings school, and has served as director for Main Company shows. In 2001, she created "The Crazy Uncle Joe Show", which is the longest-running longform improv show in Los Angeles. In 2002, she founded the first female owned-and-operated improv school in NewYork City. She created iMERGENCE in 2011, a corporate training company using improv, and she travels across the US and abroad giving her talk, “Good Girls Aren’t Funny”. She also teaches improvisation and sketch at Pace University in NYC, making her — yes — a professor of improv. You can nerd out on her by visiting her website HollyMandel.com.
