Raised in the Rocky Mountains, Karl hiked, fished, built fires- a good Scout. He traveled and lived in Europe, got his BA (not in Europe), and moved to California to pursue acting. He graduated from The Bennett Lab acting program and BATS in San Francisco, and after years of theatre and voiceover for video games and radio ads, Karl moved to LA. Along the way he has lived, worked, and performed in Taiwan and China, and served a lot of drinks (not in Taiwan and China). Recent work includes San Francisco Opera’s Cyrano with Placido Domingo, serving as President of Dueling Arts International (an NPO training organization for stage combat/theatrical sword fighting), and a Honda commercial. The Sunday Company has been a long time goal, and he is thrilled to be a part of it.
