Join us virtually for a special screening and conversation with the cast and crew of Nickelodeon’s Danger Force’s newest episode "Manlee Men". Director/co-writer/star Michael D. Cohen, breakout stars Sasha and Natalie Cohen, showrunner Chris Nowak, and co-writer Andrew Thomas will join us after the screening to talk about the making of this groundbreaking episode.
"Manlee Men", originally airing June 19th on Nickelodeon, breaks barriers by casting the first transgender teen on the network in a story that honors the character’s trans experience and was directed and co-written by Michael, who plays "Schwoz" on the show. Michael publicly disclosed his trans history in 2019 while working on Danger Force’s prequel series Henry Danger. Groundlings Main Company member and guest star on Danger Force, Jessica Pohly, will moderate a discussion on the creation of this incredible episode and the importance of trans representation in entertainment.
